The Emirates Dermatology Society is pleased to announce the “Walk for Psoriasis,” a community initiative aimed at raising awareness and providing support for individuals living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. This impactful event will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Al Safa Park, Dubai.
Why Walk for Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting more than 125 million people globally, often leading to significant physical and emotional challenges. Beyond the visible symptoms, people living with psoriasis may face stigma, mental health struggles, and daily obstacles. By coming together as a community, we can help break misconceptions, foster empathy, and encourage people from all walks of life to stand up for those affected by psoriasis.
